R.I.P The King of PopAt 5:16 EST Michael Joseph Jackson was pronounced dead at UCLA Hospital. He was only 50 years old, his 51 would have been on Aug 29.
My mom and I have been crying on and off since we saw it on the news, hoping he would be fine when we first heard he had gone to the hospital. I never knew how much of an impression Michael Jackson had on both of us. My mother was a HUGH fan of his from the time he was in the Jackson five and to this day she listened to his music and adored him, and her love transferred to me from a young age and I too grew up with him. A strong memory and very early I have is being in her room while she is watching a concert of his and how excited she was it was coming on and being sure to record it and I was there dancing. He may have gone a little crazy in the past few years but he unfortunately was unable to live the kinda of life he wanted to live, constantly under surveillance and being judged for what he may have done another piece of proof that the media can and will eventually kill. There are very few who could compare to him and with music as it is now there never will be another like him who will have such an impact on the world(YES the world) and the world of music.
Thank you Michael for all you have done through almost your whole life, I hope that you have at last found the inner peace you craved for so long. You are now with some of the TRUE musicians of the world. Good bye and God Bless. We love you.
